Free Website Migration Service
We move your website for you, free with a hosting plan.
Most of our customers put off moving for months longer than they wanted to, because the last migration they lived through was a mess. So here is how this one goes. Your part is handing us a login. Our engineers do the rest: files, databases, email, SSL and DNS, rebuilt and tested on our hardware while your current site stays up.
Free with hosting plans Done by engineers, by hand Tested before the switch Planned for zero downtime whenever possible
Nervous about switching? That’s normal.
Nothing happens to your live website until a tested copy is running on our servers and our engineers have verified it. There is no moment where your site is packed in a box.
You don’t have to commit before talking to anyone. Schedule a free consultation and an engineer (the person who would actually perform your migration) will walk through your setup. They will tell you exactly what the move involves, including anything unusual that needs extra care.
- Your current site stays untouched until you approve the switch
- A free consultation before, the 24/7 portal helpdesk after
What We Migrate
If it runs on your hosting account, it moves with you.
WordPress, WooCommerce and other CMS platforms
Files, database, themes, plugins and media move and get tested together. Stores get extra care, because orders keep arriving while the copy is made, so we agree the final sync with you first. Drupal, Joomla and custom PHP move the same way.
The whole cPanel account moves, mailboxes and all
Websites, databases, mailboxes, DNS zones, forwarders and certificates. cPanel to cPanel is the smoothest move there is, and that is what our shared platform runs.
Your email keeps working
On Shared Web Hosting, which includes business email, mailboxes are recreated and checked before the switch. Managed WordPress Hosting has no email, so we plan around your existing mail service and it keeps running where it is.
SSL and DNS, handled by us
Certificates are reissued or transferred so the padlock never disappears. DNS records are rebuilt and switched by our engineers, which is the step migrations most often get wrong.
Moving to a VPS or Virtual Dedicated Server? A free basic migration is included for standard cPanel or Plesk setups.
The Process
Five steps. Your site stays online for all of them.
The order never changes: copy, test, then switch.
-
You hand us a login
A login for your current host is everything we need to start. That is your whole job.
-
An engineer rebuilds it by hand
Every file, every database, every mailbox, every certificate. Your existing site keeps running while this happens.
-
They open your site on our servers and click through it
Website, email, SSL and forms, checked before anything changes for your visitors. We can arrange a review with you when the setup allows it.
-
We do the DNS cutover at a time you pick
Our engineers point your domain at the tested copy and watch it happen. How quickly visitors move to the new server depends on your domain’s DNS TTL, which is set by your registrar. That one setting is the most common real cause of migration downtime, so we lower it in advance where we can.
-
Your old site stays where it is
Untouched at your current host until you are satisfied and close that account yourself. If anything looks wrong, there is somewhere to go back to.

FAQ
Quick answers about website migration.
Will my site go offline during the move?
Your site keeps serving visitors at your current host while we build and test the copy on ours. Nothing changes until the switch, which is planned for zero downtime whenever possible. One thing is outside our hands: how quickly visitors reach the new server depends on your domain’s DNS TTL, set by your registrar. A short TTL means minutes; a long one can mean a day of some visitors still landing on the old server. We lower it in advance where we can.
How long does a migration take?
Most standard websites are copied, tested and switched within a few days of you sending your hosting details. It depends on the size of the site, so we agree a schedule with you before we start rather than quoting a number we can’t stand behind. Your existing site stays live throughout, so the duration never means downtime.
Do I have to touch DNS myself?
No. DNS is the record that points your domain at your server, and getting it wrong is how migrations break. Our engineers plan and perform the cutover, at a time you agree. If your domain is registered elsewhere, we tell you exactly what to change, or make the change with you on a call.
Is it really free?
Yes. A full migration, meaning website, databases, email and SSL, is free with every Web Hosting and Managed WordPress Hosting plan. VPS and Virtual Dedicated Servers get a free basic migration for standard cPanel or Plesk setups. See plans and pricing.
Can you move me from any host?
From almost any. If your provider gives you access to your files and databases, through cPanel, Plesk, SFTP or a backup archive, we can move you. The exception is closed website builders that don’t let you export your site; those can’t be copied file-for-file anywhere. If you’re on one, our development team can scope a rebuild.
