Server Administration

We run your Linux servers so you do not have to.

You already run production Linux servers, and somebody has to be awake when one of them stops answering. We watch, patch, harden and fix them, with engineers who have OS-level access, meaning full control of the server itself. Your servers do not have to live here.

Alerts investigated by an engineer Hosted here or hosted anywhere cPanel and Plesk From $199/month

Power distribution equipment in the Tampa, FL datacenter

Engineers manage your servers, not scripts on a schedule.

An engineer investigates the alert, at any hour

Problems get worked at 2am, not at 9am after your customers have already noticed. We watch CPU, memory, disk, services and logs, and an engineer reads the alert.

We recheck the hardening every month

We close the doors attackers try first, then keep them closed. Firewall setup, PHP hardening, securing SSH (the remote login used to administer your server), daily scans, and DDoS mitigation. Then we keep checking, month after month, that they are all still shut.

When something slows down, we find out why

We diagnose slow responses from the server itself, not from a dashboard, and fix the cause rather than the symptom.

Patching, migrations and restores run to a plan

We run your patch schedule: OS updates, kernel fixes, and critical CVEs (publicly known security flaws). Migrations get a written rollback plan first, and we check a restore works before you need one.

One monthly price, and a written boundary around it.

Management is $199 a month. We quote larger multi-server setups separately.

Covered, billable, and out of scope

Saying this plainly stops anyone finding the edge of the plan mid-incident.

  • Covered at $199 a month: everything in the plan list, on the servers in your scope document
  • Billable separately: application development at $120 per hour, an emergency incident outside your scope at a flat $199, and each additional server
  • Out of scope: your application code, third-party software licences, servers where we lack OS-level access, and servers outside your scope document

Where response times stand

Our target is a first response in under 25 minutes, around the clock. That is a target we work to, not a guaranteed maximum: support response times sit outside the SLA and carry no service credits.

Active Issue?

If your server is down, skip the process.

You do not need a consultation when a production server is unreachable. Emergency server support is a flat $199 per incident, hosted anywhere, no plan required.

  • Production server unreachable or unresponsive
  • Apache, Nginx or the application layer failing
  • A misconfiguration taking the service down
  • An active exploit or unauthorized access to contain

We connect, find what failed, and work the incident through. You get a written record of what we found and changed. Our target is a first response in under 25 minutes, around the clock. That is a target, not a guaranteed maximum.

Our written guarantee: If we do not restore service or deliver a clear, documented explanation of why restoration is not possible within the engagement scope, we refund the fee in full.

Three steps, and a report at the end of every cycle.

  1. We read the server first

Configuration, packages, services, firewall rules and patch status. We fix anything critical first.

  2. We close the gaps and write down the baseline

We close the open exposures, record a known-good configuration for your server, and hold it there.

  3. We keep it there, month after month

Patching, alert investigation and incident work. Each cycle you get a report of what we updated and reviewed.

Already on our infrastructure? Every Cloud Server (VPS or Virtual Dedicated Server) comes with Core Managed: OS security patching, Imunify360, CloudLinux, and control panel maintenance, plus DDoS filtering at the network edge. That is the server underneath your applications.

Your applications are the part it leaves alone. Nobody here is paged when one of your services stops answering. Server Administration is that layer.

Three questions buyers ask first.

What is included in the $199 a month, and what costs extra?

Everything in the plan list, at one monthly price. Three things sit outside it. Larger multi-server setups are quoted separately. Application development is $120 per hour. An emergency incident outside your scope is a flat $199.

Which servers and control panels can you manage?

Linux servers running cPanel or Plesk, where our engineers can get direct OS-level access. They can run here or anywhere else. We quote multi-server setups after a conversation.

Do I need a long-term contract?

We bill management month to month at $199. Cancel from the client portal. Hosting needs 7 days’ notice before your renewal date; Professional Services need 60 days. Many clients start with a one-time security audit instead, then move to monthly management after the first round of hardening. The audit report carries forward.
